Delete Your Account and Data — Face2CamDeveloper: Hammer Systems

This page explains how to request deletion of your Face2Cam account and the data associated with it.

1. How to delete your account from within the appOpen the Face2Cam app and sign in with the Google account you used to register.
2. Tap the Settings icon in the top-right corner of the main screen.
3. Select Account.
4. Tap Delete account.
5. Confirm the deletion when prompted.

Your account is deactivated immediately and permanently deleted from our systems within 30 days.
How to request deletion by emailIf you no longer have access to the app or to your Google account, send a deletion request to:

Use the subject line "Delete my Face2Cam account" and send the request from the email address linked to your Face2Cam account, so we can verify that the account belongs to you. We respond to all requests within 30 days.
What data is deletedWhen your account is deleted, the following data is permanently removed:

• Your account record and profile information (email address, name and user ID received from Google Sign-In)
• All gameplay video recordings, including any recordings that contain your face, stored on our servers
• Your in-app settings, progress and game history
• Analytics and diagnostic records linked to your account identifier

All of the above is permanently deleted from our active systems within 30 days of the request. Residual copies may remain in encrypted backups for up to 60 days from the date of deletion, after which they are automatically overwritten. Backup copies are never restored or used except where necessary for disaster recovery or to comply with a legal obligation.
What data is kept, and for how longA limited amount of data may be retained after account deletion, only where we are legally required or permitted to keep it:

• Records of financial transactions and purchases — retained for up to 5 years to comply with tax and accounting law. These records do not include your video recordings.
• Support correspondence — retained for up to 24 months from the date the ticket was closed, to resolve any follow-up inquiries and defend against potential legal claims.
• Anonymised and aggregated usage statistics — retained indefinitely. This data cannot be linked back to you or to your device and is not personal data.
• Records required to establish, exercise or defend legal claims, or to comply with a legal obligation — retained only for as long as the relevant legal requirement applies.

Deleting individual recordings without deleting your accountIf you only want to remove specific videos, open the Gallery section in the app, select the recording and tap Delete. The recording is removed from our servers within 60 days and your account remains active.
